Rustic Cafe is seeking a Cook to prepare high quality, delicious food following local and brand safety procedures and recipes. The role requires punctuality, cleanliness, and a positive attitude.

You will greet guests, operate grill and cooking equipment safely, read tickets, stock and prep for shifts, keep the store clean, and follow safety and cash-security rules. Age 18+ and drug test required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand long hours.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ and must pass a drug test.
• Stand and walk up to 10 hours daily.
• Lift up to 50 lbs (55 lbs occasionally).

Responsibilities

• Prepare high quality, delicious food following local and brand safety procedures and brand recipes.
• Greet guests with a smile and verbal greeting.
• Operate grill and cooking machinery safely.
• Read tickets and prepare items using approved abbreviations.
• Stock and prepare the unit for the next shift.
• Keep the store and station clean, including tables, floors, kitchen, storerooms and restrooms.
• Report safety concerns and guest service issues to the manager.
• Know the menu and daily features and how to prepare each item correctly.
• Understand duties of coworkers to maximize teamwork.
• Follow all safety, food handling, and cash security rules.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
