Qualifications

• One year of cook experience, preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of quality standards, varieties and preparation methods.
• Able to work with ovens, grills, stoves, knives and slicers (18+ to use slicers).
• Able to stand for 8+ hours and lift 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook pastas, sandwiches, sides, salads per recipes.
• Operate large-volume cooking equipment (grills, fryers, griddles).
• Turn or stir foods to ensure even cooking.
• Bake, roast, broil, and grill meats, fish, vegetables and more.
• Maintain correct temperatures and monitor oven and grill temperatures.
• Inspect foods for sufficient cooking and quality.
• Clean and inspect kitchen equipment and surfaces for safety and sanitation.
• Follow safety guidelines and report issues to management.
• Assist in training associates as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
