Berman Hebrew Academy seeks a Café & Commissary Manager to run the Brett & Alana Fine Café and its commissary kitchen. You will lead a team, manage daily operations, and ensure top quality food and service for students, staff, and events.

You will develop menus, schedules, and production plans while maintaining kosher compliance and health standards. This is a full‑time, on‑site role with opportunities to grow within the school food program.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operation of the Brett & Alana Fine Café and commissary kitchen.
• Plan, organize, assign, and supervise the work of café and kitchen employees.
• Develop production schedules for commissary-prepared foods to support the café, school events, catering, and other food service needs.
• Ensure the café is fully staffed during peak service periods while balancing commissary production.
• Serve as a hands‑on working manager by staffing the café counter, greeting customers, processing orders, and ensuring outstanding service.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation throughout the cafe, kitchen, seating areas, and storage.
