Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must have a TAP certification or complete certification by the time of hire.
• Must have a Municipality of Anchorage food handler’s card or complete certification by hire.
• Knowledge of over-the-counter retail sales and comfort using point-of-sale systems.
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and judgment skills; able to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to guide guests through the sale of food and beverage items.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to coordinate with grill cooks and servers.
• Willingness to work extended hours, various shifts, holidays and weekends as needed.
• Previous retail or over-the-counter food and beverage service experience preferred.
• Ability to read orders on tickets and judge the quality and quantity of raw and cooked items.
• Basic mathematics, reading, writing, and computer skills; ability to make change.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.

• Receive and fulfill guest food and beverage orders accurately.
• Deliver friendly, responsive service to ensure guest satisfaction and anticipate needs.
