Job summary

Main Event is seeking a Café Attendant to energize Guests with quick bites and beverages while providing top-notch service. You’ll know the menu inside out, suggest items, ensure order accuracy, and maintain safety and sanitation at all times. You’ll greet Guests warmly, assist with payments, and support opening/closing duties as needed.

Ideal candidates may have prior food/bev or retail experience, but it is not required. A Food Handlers Certification is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage or retail experience is a plus, but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset.
• Teamwork is a must.
• Food Handlers Certification (as required).
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Availability to work days, nights and/or weekends.

Responsibilities

• Upholding cleanliness and safety standards.
• Welcoming and greeting Guests as an ambassador of FUN.
• Recommending menu items and ensuring order accuracy.
• Preparing quick service food and beverages according to recipes and standards.
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guests' needs.
• Processing payment transactions and greeting Guests back.
• Performing opening, mid-day or closing duties.
