Job summary

DuPont Country Club in Wilmington, DE is seeking part-time Café Attendants for the Fitness Center café. You will take orders, serve guests and ensure prompt, courteous service with a friendly demeanor. Shifts include Tuesday-Friday 6am-12pm and 3pm-8pm, Saturday-Sunday 6:30am-12pm and 3pm-7:30pm after September 27.

Cross-training to Legends Pub, 1920, and the Black Gates Bar may occur. Candidates should be punctual, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and communicate clearly.

The DuPont Country Club is currently looking for part‑time Café Attendants to join our team in support of our quick-service Café at the Fitness Center. Attendants should be competent in taking orders and serving guests and should deliver prompt, efficient, courteous service with pleasant and positive demeanor. Attendants may also be cross‑trained to work in our other outlets including Legends Pub, 1920, and the Black Gates Bar at the Golf Center.

Shifts available for this position include:

Tuesday-Friday

6am-12pm

3pm-8pm

Saturday-Sunday

6:30am-12pm

3pm-7:30pm after September 27th

The successful candidate will have/be:

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication
• Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Must be dependable and adaptable
• Working knowledge of restaurant operations and steps of service
