Job summary

Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking a friendly Café Associate to join our Dining Services team. You will prepare and serve food, maintain cleanliness, and provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of food service experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Serv Safe certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of food service experience preferred.
• Able to consent to a drug screen and background check.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and to lift, bend, stoop, and reach during the shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, deliver, set up, serve, and clean for catering events on- and off-premises.
• Prepare hot and cold items per recipes and standards.
• Maintain sanitary workstation and observe food quality and appearance.
• Use knives and utensils to portion and prepare food.
• Stock deliveries and remove trash as needed.
