Base pay range

$17.00/hr - $24.00/hr

What you'll do

The café associate role involves preparing food, serving members, and maintaining a clean, welcoming cafe environment. You will work as part of a team to deliver fast and friendly service that meets member expectations, with energy and enthusiasm.

• Be a Team Member: Maintains up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborates with cross-functional teams; educates other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicates effectively with the team; and is flexible to the needs of the business to work in other areas.
• Be an Expert: Prepares food according to item specifications; plans for future productions and mass productions; adheres to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operates, maintains, and sanitizes equipment; understands product and layout execution.
• Be a Techie: Uses digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; uses handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pickup orders, training, and product quality with the member in mind; adapts to new tools and encourages others to use them.
• Be an Owner: Drives the performance of the area; stocks and rotates merchandise; ensures quality and date control; eliminates waste; provides member service by acknowledging member needs and assisting with purchasing decisions and inquiries.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Acts as a brand advocate; develops, influences and inspires others to work in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented way; helps identify and address roadblocks in training.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; applies Open Door Policy in executing business processes and practices.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and other partners; identifies priorities and deadlines; communicates progress and information; and adapts to change and feedback.
