Job summary

AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a friendly and reliable café attendant to process transactions, maintain a clean service area, and assist with meal preparation and delivery. You will interact with patients, visitors, and staff in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate payments and exceptional service.

Ideal candidates have high school completion and prior cash handling or hospitality experience, with ServeSafe preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions swiftly and accurately using the cash register and POS systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area.
• Support daily café and kitchen operations by restocking supplies and assisting with food preparation and meal delivery.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests and resolving concerns.
• Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments securely and issue receipts.

Job Description:

• Process customer transactions swiftly and accurately using the cash register and point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Support daily café and kitchen operations by assisting with restocking supplies, food preparation, patient meal production, dishwashing, meal delivery, and other tasks as assigned to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and resolving concerns professionally.
• Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments securely while issuing receipts and maintaining accurate records.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of food items and ability to interact with customers to answer questions and to promote food offerings. [Required]
