Job summary

Calance seeks a seasoned CAE HPC System Administrator to own and optimize high-performance computing infrastructure for engineering simulations. You’ll administer job schedulers, support CAE applications and licensing, and automate Linux operations within a scalable enterprise HPC environment.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of Linux admin experience, hands-on HPC cluster management, and strong scripting ability to automate monitoring and tasks.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Linux system administration experience (RHEL preferred).
• Hands-on experience with HPC clusters and job schedulers (LSF, Slurm, PBS, or similar).
• Proven CAE application support and integration experience.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Shell, Perl, or equivalent).
• Experience with OS deployment, patching, and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and tune HPC job schedulers (IBM Spectrum LSF, Open PBS, or equivalent) to optimize CAE workload throughput.
• Install, upgrade, and support CAE applications and simulation tools, managing licensing systems (FlexLM, RLM).
• Maintain RHEL environments across HPC clusters, including OS provisioning, patching, and automation.
