Job summary

Toyota Tsusho Systems US, Inc. seeks a CAE HPC System Administrator with 7+ years of Linux experience to join our digital solution manufacturing team. You will manage HPC clusters, schedulers, CAE tooling, and licensing, ensuring performance, stability, and scalable workloads.

Hybrid full-time role based in the United States, requiring strong scripting and automation skills, OS deployment, hardware management, and proactive optimization of CAE infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Linux system administration experience (preferably RHEL).
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, or related work experience.
• Hands-on experience managing HPC clusters and job schedulers (LSF, Slurm, PBS).
• Proven CAE application support and integration expertise.
• Strong scripting skills (Bash, Shell, Perl, or equivalent).
• Experience with OS deployment, patching, and system automation.
• Solid understanding of enterprise server hardware, storage, and networking.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and optimize HPC job scheduling environments (LSF, Slurm, PBS).
• Design queues, resource policies, and scheduling strategies for CAE workloads.
• Monitor performance and implement improvements for efficiency and throughput.
• Install, upgrade, test CAE apps and licensing; provide integration with schedulers.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts; oversee OS deployment and patching.
• Manage hardware, storage, networking, and InfiniBand components.
• Document configurations, incidents, and best practices; support incident response.
