Job summary

Cadence invites engineering students to join the PSDA team for a three-month summer internship in San Jose, CA. You will work with CAE tools, perform simulations, and learn from experts across engineering disciplines.

The program emphasizes hands-on training in engineering analysis, Python automation, and AI-enabled workflows, with exposure to IC design, verification, and customer support services.

Qualifications

• Rising senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related STEM field.
• Master’s degree candidates will also be considered for this internship.
• Experience with CAE/EDA or AI use cases is preferred; strong communication and analytical skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Support CAE simulations and system design analyses under guidance of technical teams.
• Collaborate with peers and application engineers across Cadence’s customer projects.
• Assist in data processing, scripting tasks, and generation of engineering outputs.
• Apply AI concepts to enhance engineering workflows and accuracy.
