Job summary

The Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island is seeking a Caddie / Forecaddie & Bag Drop Attendant to enhance the golfing experience with on-course support and friendly guest service.

You will assist with bag handling, cart operations, yardage guidance, and pace-of-play, while upholding hospitality standards in all interactions with players and guests.

Flexibility with a weekend/holiday schedule and ability to work outdoors in varied weather are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure carts are stocked and in good working condition.
• Assist with range balls collection and restocking at practice facility.
• Maintain cleanliness of cart barn and practice areas.
• Provide caddie or forecaddie services, including yardage guidance and course knowledge.
• Track shots, locate balls, and assist players with navigation.
• Deliver exceptional guest service by answering questions and giving directions.
• Follow safety guidelines, etiquette, and course procedures.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Greet golfers upon arrival and assist with unloading, tagging, and organizing golf bags.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional bag drop and cart staging area.
• Prepare, stage, clean, and return golf carts before and after play.
• Ensure carts are properly stocked and in good working condition.
• Assist with practice facility operations, including range ball collection and restocking.
• Maintain cleanliness of practice areas, cart barn, and surrounding facilities.
• Provide caddie or forecaddie services, including yardage guidance, course knowledge, and pace-of-play support.
• Track golf shots, locate balls, and assist players with course navigation.
• Deliver exceptional guest service by answering questions, giving directions, and anticipating guest needs.
• Follow all safety guidelines, golf etiquette standards, and course procedures.
