Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. seeks a drafting professional to prepare plans from engineering sketches and details. Proficiency in MicroStation and AutoCAD is required, with experience in topographic mapping and utility design.

Position supports field and office surveying activities, with emphasis on QA/QC and timely communication of progress. TN visa eligibility is available for qualified candidates; immigration sponsorship is limited.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete and pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening.
• Valid Driver’s License Required.
• Able to pass Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Drafting from engineering sketches and details.
• Plot utilities and topographic mapping.
• Conduct office survey activities per industry standards.
• Research utility records.
• Perform QA/QC for tasks.
• Produce finished mapping products (SUE QL B/C/D, topo).
• Communicate daily progress to the office staff.
