Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) seeks a Drafting / SUE Technician to prepare plans from sketches for multidisciplinary projects. Strong MicroStation and AutoCAD skills are required, with drilling into utility mapping and field support.

TN visa eligibility is noted; H-1B sponsorship is not available. The role offers hourly compensation from $25.00 to $40.00 based on experience and certifications, with a Utah-like formality in the invite and a path to professional growth within a 100%

Qualifications

• Must successfully pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Able to pass Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Drafting using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.
• Plot utilities and topographic mapping.
• Perform office survey activities per standards.
• Conduct utility records research.
• Perform QA/QC and office computations.
• Prepare finished mapping products (QL B/C/D) and reports.
• Communicate daily progress to the office team.
