Job summary

H.F. Lenz Engineering, a nationally recognized consulting firm, seeks a CADD/Revit Operator to support electrical system drafting and design for commercial buildings at our Johnstown, PA headquarters.

You will perform 2D and 3D modeling using AutoCAD, Revit and BIM360, delivering drawings for offices, government facilities and data centers. The role requires familiarity with 2D drafting, Revit 3D modeling, and collaboration across disciplines to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Associates or Technical Degree in Engineering Technology, CADD or applicable field of study.
• 0-5 years experience in building system design; electrical/power systems experience preferred.
• Training/experience in 2D drafting using AutoCAD required.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling using Revit, Inventor or SolidWorks highly preferred.
• Must be fully authorized to work in the United States.
• Some travel to project sites may be required.
• Ability to obtain security clearances, as necessary.
• Demonstrates ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Lenz Engineering, a nationally recognized consulting firm, is seeking an innovative CADD/Revit Operator to support the electrical system drafting and design for commercial building systems at our headquarters in Johnstown, PA. Candidates will perform 2D and 3D modeling using AutoCAD, Revit and other BIM360 applications. They will perform fundamental drafting techniques for a diverse portfolio of projects related to commercial office buildings, government facilities and data-centers. HFL is a full-service engineering, design and construction management firm headquartered in Johnstown, PA. In operation for 80 years, we offer a full range of engineering services for private and public buildings and facilities. Our high-profile projects span the nation, with the heaviest concentration in the Northeast.

Requirements/Responsibilities

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Responsible for electrical drafting and design for MEP projects, including power distribution, lighting, telecom and security systems.
• Set up CADD drawings and Revit models, diagrams and layouts.
• Perform fundamental drafting techniques and coordinate with various engineering disciplines.
• Collaborate with engineering team members in cross-functional setting to ensure that the design is accurate and that contract responsibilities are met according to client's expectations.
