Job summary

H.F. Lenz Engineering is seeking CADD/REVIT Technicians to support the Mechanical and HVAC drafting and design for commercial buildings at our growing office in Pittsburgh, PA.

You will perform 2D and 3D modeling using AutoCAD, Revit and BIM360 applications and contribute to projects across office buildings, healthcare facilities and other commercial structures. As an Engineering Technician, you will set up CADD drawings, Revit models, and layouts, coordinate with multiple engineering

Qualifications

• Associates or Technical Degree in Engineering Technology, CADD or applicable field of study.
• 3-5 years experience in MEP design or HVAC building systems experience is preferred.
• Training and/or experience in 2D drafting using AutoCAD is required.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling using Revit, Inventor or Solidworks is highly preferred.
• Must have the ability to work occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for mechanical, HVAC and plumbing drafting and design for MEP projects.
• Set up CADD drawings and Revit models, diagrams and layouts.
• Perform 2D and 3D drafting techniques and coordinate with various engineering disciplines.
• Collaborate with engineering team members in cross-functional setting to ensure design accuracy and contract requirements.
