Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Knowledge of drafting and design support principles, practices, process, methods and techniques.
• Knowledge of codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
• Ability to perform technical computations involving geometry and math concepts.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Collect, compile, and analyze data from sites, surveys, and drawings to support drafting and design.
• Use 3D CADD software and collaborate with engineers to resolve design details.
• Ensure designs meet standards, specifications, and regulations.
• Prepare multiple design versions for review by engineers.
• Verify calculations and interpretation of contract plans and specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project phases.
• Advise on dimensions, materials, and procedures to meet contract requirements.
• Engage with client and contractor staff for drafting and design coordination.
• Apply analytical techniques to tackle engineering problems and redesigns as needed.
• Uphold safety, ethics, and company policies.
