Job summary
Discovery Institute of Addictive Disorders Inc. is seeking a compassionate Drug and Alcohol IOP Counselor with a CADC certification to join our team.
In this Intensive Outpatient Program, you will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and lead group and individual therapy sessions tailored to clients' needs. This part-time role offers evening and weekend sessions to accommodate clients, with a focus on collaborative care and maintaining confidential records in line with regulatory
Qualifications
- CADC credential required.
- Experience with substance use disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions emphasizing coping strategies, relapse prevention, and self-care techniques.
- Deliver individual counseling sessions addressing clients' goals and challenges.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic treatment.
- Maintain confidential client records in compliance with regulatory standards.
