Job summary

Behavioral Health Group (BHG) is hiring an IOP Counselor to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients overcoming addiction. The role emphasizes individual and group counseling, admissions using ASAM criteria, and maintaining accurate records.

You will collaborate with the recovery care team and clinical supervisor, operate Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM with a rotating Saturday, and participate in compliance with regulations while supporting patient recovery.

Qualifications

• LCAS or CADC required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients individually and in groups using evidence-based approaches.
• Conduct admissions using ASAM criteria.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with recovery care team and supervisor.
• Orient patients to services and provide intake/readmission.
