Job summary

Behavioral Health Group (BHG) seeks a Counselor in Las Vegas to assist patients in leveraging strengths to achieve social, educational, and occupational goals and to support a drug-free life. You will report to the Counselor Supervisor or Program Director and ensure adherence to schedules and program policies.

Minimum requirements include CADC-I or CADC, a relevant degree (Masters/Bachelors in human services), and a background in behavioral health.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelors in human services and current counseling credentials required.
• Behavioral health experience preferred but not required.
• Strong decision-making and confidentiality abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions and group sessions.
• Orient patients to treatment program operations and procedures.
• Develop and revise patient treatment plans, maintaining records.
• Make referrals and perform follow-ups.
• Coordinate care with community providers as needed.
• Adhere to federal, state, and accrediting agency requirements.
