Ridgeview Institute Monroe is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor / Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) to address the bio-psychosocial needs of patients. You will offer social services, guide treatment access, and participate in crisis intervention and family therapy as part of a collaborative care team.

The role emphasizes documentation, interdisciplinary communication, and ongoing plan updates to meet patient goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• GA licensure in substance abuse required; MSW/CMHC preferred.
• Experience with dual diagnosis and 12-step programs.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients to obtain substance abuse history.
• Document findings within 72 hours of admission.
• Develop and update treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide crisis intervention and family therapy as needed.
