Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Lab Assistant to provide support for cadaveric bioskills training events and maintain the facility when not in use. The role involves setting up and organizing lab spaces, coordinating supplies, and assisting with offsite events.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication and customer service. Surgical/Operating Room experience is preferred, with per diem work and variable shifts.

Responsibilities

• Equipping and organizing lab facilities and cleaning, processing, and coordinating supplies.
• Participate in onsite training and cadaveric labs from setup to cleanup.
• Efficiently plan, prepare, pack, and ship resources for offsite cadaver lab events.
• Decontaminate and organize equipment, instrumentation, and disposables following each event.
• Maintains equipment and material parts for the center and recommends when supplies are needed.
• Complete general clerical duties including data entry, copying, scanning, fax and mailing.
