Job summary

Lincoln County is seeking a Cadastral Surveyor or Survey Technician 2 to join Yaquina Head Lighthouse operations. The role will supervise field and office survey work, including cadastral and boundary surveys, coordinate with GIS/engineering teams, and ensure accuracy in geodetic computations.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in surveying or related field, 4–5 years of experience, and Oregon Professional Land Surveyor licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field;
• 4–5 years of survey experience;
• Licensure as Professional Land Surveyor in Oregon; Oregon Driver's License within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and review field and office survey work, including control, cadastral and boundary surveys.
• Review surveys, partition plats, subdivisions, and condos under ORS 209.250 and 92.
• Design topographic surveys for engineering projects and maintain the Geodetic Control Network.
