Job summary

The Lincoln County Surveyor's Office is hiring a Survey Technician 2 to perform land surveying assignments under a licensee. This role includes establishing and reviewing corners, maintaining the county geodetic network, and researching records. Full-time with comprehensive benefits and DOE pay.

Essential duties include field and office surveys, geodetic calculations, and review of surveys, partitions, and subdivisions under Oregon statutes. Oregon driver license required within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED.
• Four-Five years of survey work; experience preferred.
• Desirable: CAD proficiency and pursuing licensure in Oregon.
• Oregon Driver's License required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Complete field and office survey work including control, cadastral surveys and geodetic computations.
• Research property records, deeds, maps, and information from various offices.
• Review surveys, partition plats, and subdivisions under ORS 209.250 and 92.
• Operate survey equipment and CAD software for plans and plats.
