Property Appraiser of Miami-Dade County is seeking a GIS Mapper at the Stephen P. Clark Government Center in Miami, FL.

This full-time position performs cadastral mapping and GIS work to create, maintain, analyze, and quality-control parcel and spatial data, supporting the annual assessment roll. The role involves researching deeds, plats, surveys, and other records, updating GIS systems, and ensuring compliance with laws and office policies.

Qualifications

• Level I requires high school diploma or GED with one year of relevant experience or training.
• Level II requires Level I plus two tax-roll cycles, independence, and FACM 01–03 trainings.
• Level III requires Level II plus two tax-roll cycles, four years of relevant experience, and FACM 04 plus IAAO 600/601.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical cadastral mapping and GIS work to create, maintain, analyze, and quality-control parcel and spatial data.
• Research deeds, plats, surveys, and other property records; update GIS systems.
• Provide mapping information to staff, agencies, property owners, and customers; ensure compliance with laws and office policies.
