Responsibilities

As a Survey CAD Technician at Atwell you will work on diverse projects with various size, scope, and detail. You will work in a flexible work environment with a fantastic office culture and a national presence. - Serve as resource for design staff as it pertains to drafting practices and procedures. - Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related surveying software packages to complete assignments on time and within Atwell standards. - Produce various drawing specific to projects including; ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, construction layout and construction staking. - Review project survey data to analyze existing site conditions and factors to consider for development including but not limited to legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, easement documents and condo documents. - Complete edits and modify plans as revised by agencies, municipalities and clients as directed. - Communicate with Project Managers, field crews, and Team Leaders on workflow status in order to meet chargeability goals.

Qualifications

- 4+ years Land Survey Civil 3D experience - Required - 3+ years TBC (Trimble Business Center) - Preferred - 3+ years field experience - Preferred - Have a understanding of Land Survey procedures and workflows - Needs to be able to read field notes - Needs to be able to read, understand and input Deeds - Needs to be able to read, understand and input Plats - Needs to be able to read, understand and input construction plans (Site plans, Foundation Plans, Architecture Plans) - Needs to be able to research: Deeds, CCR’s, Benchmarks, R/W Maps, Government Notes Needs a working knowledge and understanding of the following in Civil 3D: Points Surfaces (Contours, creating and editing) Styles (Points, Lines, Labels, Symbols, Surfaces, Parcels) Parcel Reports (COGO reports) Description Keys (How to use and setup) Traverse input and adjustment
