Position Overview

We are seeking an entry-level CAD Technician to join our team. This position requires 40 hours per week in our Tempe office. (This job is not remote nor hybrid.)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Work with AutoCAD and Civil 3D to create, maintain, and edit structural, mechanical, civil, and electrical plans for water mains, sewer mains, treatment plants, and water storage tanks.
2. Think creatively and visualize in 3D.
3. Complete multiple assignments successfully through strong communication skills, including written and verbal, with the ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment.
4. Work effectively in a team setting or independently as necessary.
5. Exhibit excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
6. Arrive on time daily and work from 8 am – 5 pm.

Requirements

1. Recent graduates from a Community College level program in CAD (Associate Degree) interested in pursuing a career in CAD.
2. Possess a CAD-related Associate's Degree (preferred) OR equivalent work experience as a CAD Drafter/Technician.
3. Proficiency with AutoCAD (version 2010 or higher).
4. Proficiency with REVIT.
5. Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
6. Strong organizational skills.
