Qualifications

• Diploma, certificate, or associate degree in CAD, drafting, engineering technology, or related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software, with SolidWorks required and AutoCAD a plus.
• Strong drafting standards, symbols and technical conventions knowledge.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and engineering concepts.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Producing 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Developing detailed layouts, views, and sections based on sketches, specifications, and engineering calculations.
• Creating and organizing installation instruction illustrations.
• Revising and updating drawings to reflect design changes and evolving project requirements.
• Ensuring all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and internal drafting practices.
• Maintaining and updating drawing files, supporting documentation, and revision control within the document management system.
• Coordinating with engineers, designers, and project teams to resolve design or technical issues.
• Performing additional drafting or documentation tasks based on workload and business needs.
