Job summary

ESPO Corporation in Conshohocken, PA seeks a Civil CAD Technician for a 12-month contract to hire. You will revise drawings and prepare component drawings from instructions, following drafting standards and procedures.

This role offers mentorship, growth opportunities and the chance to work in a collaborative team. Must have strong communication, meet deadlines, and be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with drafting technology coursework required.
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of commands in at least one CAD program; higher-level commands useful.
• Experience with multiple CAD systems, including 3D, preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Description

• The Drafter position will require strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills, as well as demonstrate the ability to function in a team environment.
• Responsibilities include revising existing drawings and preparing drawings of basic components from explicit verbal or written instructions or detailed sketches.
• This position successfully plots drawings; learns and follows company and client drafting standards and procedures; learns the practices of a selected discipline.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and course work in drafting technology is Required.
• Min 1 yr relevant exp.
• Basic knowledge of commands in at least one CAD program; ability to occasionally use higher-level commands, time saving programs and routines.
• Basic knowledge and experience in multiple CAD systems preferred (including 3D).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in collaborative team environment.
• Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Self-motivated and eager learner, aptitude to grow and develop within the field.
• Ability to meet deadlines and budget.
