Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation to create and modify survey-related drawings.
• Incorporate survey data field notes and measurements into CAD drawings.
• Follow established CAD standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and accuracy in drawings.
• Apply symbols, labels, and annotations to accurately represent survey data and features.
• Assist in the preparation of CAD drawings for survey projects under the guidance of senior technicians or surveyors.
• Assist in processing survey data and importing it into CAD software.
• Verify data accuracy and consistency to maintain high-quality CAD deliverables.
• Conduct basic quality control checks on CAD drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Work closely with surveyors, engineers, and other team members to understand project requirements and objectives.
• Stay updated with CAD software and tools relevant to surveying.
• Participate in training and development activities to enhance CAD skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• An associate or bachelor's degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation is desirable.
• Basic understanding of surveying principles, data collection, and data management.
• Familiarity with geospatial data, coordinate systems, and mapping standards.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in CAD drafting and data processing.
