A day in the life of a CAD Technician

Everyday you will be working with field gathered survey data to put together a deliverable CAD file of PDF sheets depicting the existing conditions of each project. You look through the data file for any errors in code descriptions that would make the data not work in the setup of Civil 3D drawings. You then import survey data into a clean point drawing and a drawing with processed line work based off the desired survey. Then you clean up any issues and put together the desired deliverable to the client. Everyday you work closely with a team of other CAD Technicians as well as the Survey Team to present the best product possible to our clients.
