Job summary

AtEndurable Building Products in Brooklyn Center, MN is seeking a CAD Technician - SolidWorks Specialist to transform architectural visions into detailed, buildable models.

You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to move designs from concept to fabrication, using SolidWorks for assemblies and weldments. If you bring an associate degree and 2–3 years of SolidWorks experience, you’ll join a team focused on quality and continuous improvement.

• Associate degree in architectural technology, engineering, or CAD-equivalent.
• 2–3 years SolidWorks experience, especially with assemblies and weldments.
• Strong understanding of architectural and structural drawings.

Responsibilities

• Interpret architectural and structural drawings to capture design intent and attachment conditions.
• Collaborate with sales and project managers to develop preliminary and shop drawings.
• Create and revise engineering and fabrication drawings that guide production teams.
• Coordinate with field managers to incorporate real-world measurements and feedback.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines with precision and professionalism.
• Troubleshoot design challenges and contribute to innovative solutions.

Hours: 7am-4pm

What You'll Do

As a CAD Technician, you'll be at the heart of our design process, transforming architectural visions into detailed, buildable models usingSolidWorks. You'll work closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to bring projects from concept to fabrication.

• Interpreting architectural and structural drawings to capture design intent and attachment conditions.
• Collaborating with sales and project managers to develop preliminary and shop drawings.
• Creating and revising engineering and fabrication drawings that guide our production teams.
• Coordinating with field managers to incorporate real-world measurements and feedback.

What You Bring

• Associate's degree in architectural technology, engineering, or equivalent CAD experience.
• 2-3 years of SolidWorks experience, especially with assemblies and weldments.
• Strong understanding of architectural and structural drawings.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Bluebeam Revu is a plus.
• A collaborative mindset and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
