Job summary

Hanson Professional Services Inc. is seeking a Deputy CAD Administrator to oversee CAD standards, support users, and drive continuous improvement across our design technology environment. This role reports to the CAD Administrator and enables scalable CAD processes across projects.

The position can be located in any office, with hybrid or fully remote work options, supporting multiple disciplines and client requirements. Strong MicroStation/OpenX experience and ProjectWise are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in CAD, Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field.
• 5–10 years of professional CAD experience.
• Strong CAD standards, plotting, and file management understanding.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and communicate solutions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enforce CAD standards, libraries, and best practices.
• Provide day-to-day CAD user support and troubleshooting.
• Assist with CAD training materials and learning sessions.
• Coordinate software installations, updates, and license management.
• Assist with client Workspace deployment and enhancements.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to resolve CAD challenges.
• Identify opportunities to improve CAD workflows and automation.
• Help manage client-based CAD resources.
