Job summary

Express Employment Professionals of Little Rock is seeking an experienced CAD / SolidWorks Draftsman to join our team in North Little Rock, Arkansas. You will work closely with fabrication and production teams to transform customer drawings into shop floor-ready files.

The ideal candidate has strong SolidWorks and CAD drafting experience, the ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings, and the skill to create accurate production-ready files.

Qualifications

• Proficient in SolidWorks and CAD drafting.
• Strong CAD drafting experience.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication/manufacturing drawings.
• Ability to create accurate shop drawings and production-ready files.
• Understanding of dimensions, tolerances, materials, and basic fabrication processes.
• Detail-oriented and able to work with production teams.
• Steel fabrication/manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fabrication and production teams to move drawings from design to shop floor.
• Translate customer drawings and concepts into production-ready files.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy and proper tolerances on shop drawings.
• Support production with technical guidance as needed.

WE'RE HIRING - CAD / SOLIDWORKS DRAFTSMAN

Express Employment Professionals of Little Rock is looking to add an experienced CAD / SolidWorks Draftsman to our team in North Little Rock, Arkansas.

This is a family owned company that has grown from a steel service center into a full-service fabrication operation. We are looking for someone who can work directly with our fabrication and production teams to help take customer drawings and concepts from design to the shop floor.

What We're Looking For:

• Proficient in SolidWorks
• Strong CAD drafting experience
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication and manufacturing drawings
• Ability to create accurate shop drawings and production-ready files
• Understanding of dimensions, tolerances, materials, and basic fabrication processes
• Detail-oriented and able to work closely with our production team
• Steel fabrication or manufacturing experience is a major plus

An engineering degree is NOT required. We are much more interested in hands-on experience, ability, and a strong working knowledge of SolidWorks and CAD.
