Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a 2D Drafting Assistant to support the drafting and engineering team by preparing 2D drawings in CAD or AutoCAD for steel components, assemblies, brackets, frames, and shop fabricated parts.

You will convert sketches, measurements, and engineering notes into fabrication-ready drawings, must be able to read a tape measure and convert it to decimal points, and stay flexible in the workflow.

Qualifications

• Able to read a tape measure and convert to decimals.
• Experience copying 2D drawings for fabrication.
• Familiar with CAD or AutoCAD for steel components.

Responsibilities

• Copy and paste 2D drawings using CAD/AutoCAD for steel components and frames.
• Convert sketches and engineering notes into fabrication-ready drawings.

2D Drafting Assistant Needed!!!!

One will supporting the drafting and engineering team by copying and pasting 2D drawings using CAD or Auto-CAD for steel components, assemblies, brackets, frames, and shop fabricated parts. Convert sketches, measurements, and engineering notes into accurate fabrication-ready drawings. Must be able to read a tape measure and be able to convert it to decimal points and be flexible in the workflow.

Pays up to $18 based on experience.
