Job summary

Stantec is seeking a mid-level Process Designer for our Plymouth, MN office with an opportunity for remote work. The role focuses on CAD-based design using Plant 3D and Revit, along with 3D facility layouts, piping design, and isometric drawings for processing equipment installation.

The ideal candidate holds at least a two-year degree in Mechanical Design or CAD/Drafting and has five years of directly related experience. Some travel to client locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of a two-year degree in Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology or CAD/Drafting.
• Minimum of five years of directly related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist and create Orthographic drawings from Plant 3D and/or Revit.
• 3D modeling of equipment and vendor DWG verification.
• Perform 3D facility design and equipment layouts including sketches and General Arrangement drawings for installation of processing equipment.
• Perform piping design including 3D routing of pipes, supports, and Isometric drawings for fabrication and installation.
