Job summary

Clayton is seeking a CAD Operator to produce drawing files for production and submit plans following serialized orders and state codes. You will work with the production line to analyze print discrepancies and may need to visit the home building facility.

The role requires CAD experience, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate with production and sales teams. This is a full-time, on-site position with hourly pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; drafting degree preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CAD systems and construction standards.
• 2+ years of CAD experience.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Familiarity with building codes.

Responsibilities

• Create prints using AutoCAD for layout diagrams, schematics and construction documents.
• Prepare and maintain plans for new structures and processes.
• Communicate with production team regarding print-related items.
• Communicate with sales regarding orders.
• Other duties as assigned.
