Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a CAD Operator to produce drawing files for production, follow serialized orders, and ensure plans meet company standards. You will work with the production line and visit the home building facility to resolve print discrepancies.

The role requires 2+ years CAD experience, a high school diploma or GED (drafting degree preferred), and proficiency with AutoCAD. This is a full-time, on-site hourly position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; drafting degree preferred.
• 2+ years of CAD experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Familiar with building codes and construction standards.

Responsibilities

• Create prints using AutoCAD for layout diagrams, schematics and construction documents.
• Prepare and maintain plans for new structures and processes.
• Communicate and collaborate with production team regarding print items and with sales regarding orders.
• Visit the home building facility as required and perform root-cause analysis on print discrepancies.
