Are you an experienced mechanical technician with strong CAD skills looking for a position with a leading company? R&E Automated Systems is seeking a CAD-proficient mechanical technician with a great work ethic and communication skills to join our team. We support manufacturing clients during build, launch, and production, including some of the nation's biggest companies.

Position Duties:

1. Create and modify 3D CAD models and technical drawings
2. Support manufacturing operations with technical expertise
3. Perform quality inspections and measurements using precision instruments
4. Collaborate with engineering and production teams on technical projects
5. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement solutions
6. Maintain accurate documentation of designs and changes
7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment
8. Ensure completion of all assigned tasks

Skills Required:

• 2+ years experience in mechanical design/drafting using CAD software
• Proficiency in industry-standard CAD programs (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Experience with precision measurement tools and techniques
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Ability to multi-task efficiently
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Leadership qualities with excellent interpersonal, team-building, and communication skills
• Experience with Automated Mobile Robots (AMR) or Automated Mobile Vehicles (AMV) is a plus
• CMM experience is a plus

Education:

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, CAD Design, or related field
