Job summary
The Alderwood Water & Wastewater District (AWWD) invites applications for a Drafting & Mapping Analyst to support capital improvement projects with CAD and GIS workflows. You will help engineers draft plans, produce maps, and respond to mapping requests across departments.
Ideal candidates have an associate degree in a related field and at least four years’ experience in mapping, surveying, or civil engineering, plus strong communication and organizational skills. WA driver’s license required.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in geography, cartography, GIS, engineering, planning, construction management, or related field.
- Four years of experience in mapping, surveying, civil engineering, planning or related field.
- Possess and maintain a Valid Washington State Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
Responsibilities
- Develop and update engineering plans using CAD systems.
- Produce maps in GIS to aid planning and analysis of CIP.
- Assist departments with mapping requests.
