Job summary

Invenergy seeks a CAD-GIS Designer to support engineering teams by developing engineering drawings, 3D models, and geospatial workflows for large-scale energy projects. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Routing & Siting, you will bridge CAD and GIS, establish data governance, and improve project workflows throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in CAD design, GIS, or related field.
• Experience with 2D drawings and 3D models in standard design platforms.
• Experience with ESRI arcGIS suite and geospatial analyses.
• Experience supporting CAD-to-GIS integration and data management workflows.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain engineering drawings and 3D models for energy projects.
• Develop site layouts, equipment arrangements, P&IDs, and design packages with engineering teams.
• Interpret survey, hydrology, and site data to support layouts and studies.
• Support project development from early stage through construction.
• Develop and maintain CAD-GIS workflows, standards, and data governance processes.
