Job summary

SaidGig is seeking a hands-on CAD and manufacturing expert to train and evaluate next‑generation AI systems. You will provide real-world input to improve AI reasoning about manufacturing workflows and use Python-based agents in your workflow.

The role is an independent contractor, fully remote, requiring 15–20 hours weekly with flexible evenings and weekends. Compensation is task-based, $80–$150 per hour, with payments tied to project specifications.

Role Overview

Apply hands-on CAD and manufacturing expertise to help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems. You will provide detailed real-world input that improves how AI models reason about manufacturing workflows. No prior AI experience is required, but this is a coding-intensive role and experience using coding agents with Python is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert feedback on manufacturing processes and techniques, particularly CAD, CAM, and CNC workflows.
• Review, assess, and refine AI-generated content and recommendations related to manufacturing workflows.
• Develop and validate detailed evaluation rubrics for manufacturing-process accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with a CAD platform, such as Fusion 360, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Onshape, Inventor, CATIA, Creo, or FreeCAD.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with clear and detailed documentation.
• Experience using coding agents and Python in your workflow.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Autodesk tools, especially Fusion 360 or AutoCAD.
• Background in CAM, CNC machining, or digital manufacturing workflows.
• Familiarity with AI tools, including LLMs, generative design, or AI-assisted workflows, and comfort evaluating AI output.
• Experience developing or applying process-evaluation rubrics.

Work Terms

Independent contractor engagement. Fully remote and open to candidates worldwide. Expected commitment of 15 to 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling that can accommodate evenings and weekends. Minimum weekly task-submission requirements apply. Selected candidates should be ready to begin their first tasks within 24 to 48 hours after completing onboarding.

Compensation

Compensation $80 to $150 per hour. Payment is output-based and issued for tasks that meet project specifications. Time required may vary based on experience and workflow.
