Job summary

Unified Door & Hardware Group in the United States seeks an Engineer to support project and engineering activities, focusing on CAD-based shop drawings and documentation control.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet Architectural Specifications, building codes, and client expectations, while assisting R&D of new products and processes and maintaining thorough project records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with two years of computer training.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and contract specifications.
• Knowledge of structural steel and miscellaneous metals.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the research, design, and implementation of projects.
• Performs engineering project support functions.
• Conducts research to determine manufacturability and ease of assembly.
• Assists in review and creation of documentation.
• Assist management with Research and Development of new products and processes as needed.
• Interprets Architectural Specifications and develops CAD shop drawings for review.
