Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG) is seeking an Engineer to drive the design and development of hollow metal and wood door shop drawings, coordinating across teams to ensure precision and timely project delivery.

You will engage in research, CAD-based design, and documentation while supporting cross-functional collaboration and adherence to building codes. This full-time role offers growth within a leading FBM organization and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of structural steel and miscellaneous metals.
• Must read and interpret drawings and contract specifications.
• AutoCAD is required.

Responsibilities

• Project & Engineering Support: assists with research, design and implementation of projects; conducts research to determine manufacturability; assists in documentation.
• Technical Design & Compliance: develops CAD shop drawings; ensures compliance with plans and codes.
• Project Coordination & Communication: coordinates with client and project manager; manages material releases and timelines.
• Documentation & Reporting: maintains project documentation; informs superiors of progress and problems.
• Team Collaboration & Relationship Management: maintains effective communication with area staff.
• Miscellaneous: supports safety, customer focus, teamwork and integrity.
