Job summary

CapstoneONE Search client seeks a Manufacturing Project Engineer to support current operations and major capital projects. The role emphasizes CAD-based plant layouts, equipment and machine design, and hands-on project engineering in a complex industrial environment.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, contractors, and leadership to move projects from concept through installation and implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years engineering experience in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CAD drawings for plant layouts and equipment placements.
• Design modifications to manufacturing equipment, tooling, and plant infrastructure.
• Lead capital projects from concept through installation and implementation.
• Evaluate engineering proposals and determine feasibility with technical specs.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, EHS, contractors and suppliers.
• Provide hands-on support during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Support facility and equipment reliability and long-term planning.
