Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking an Engineering Assistant in Bothell, WA to support engineering, operation and maintenance of the energy delivery system. You will assist in studies, designs and drawings using CAD and other software, maintain records and prepare cost estimates.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years CAD drafting experience with AutoCAD, and a technical drafting certificate or an associate degree in design or pre-engineering. Strong communication and organizational skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with technical field experience or drafting certificate.
• Minimum of 3+ years of professional CAD drafting experience with AutoCAD.
• Two-year associate or technical degree in design or pre-engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering tasks using applications and tools specific to the assignment.
• Assists in preparation of engineering studies, designs and drawings.
• Creates/updates equipment records, work orders and project documentation.
• Conducts office and field research, measurement and verification of equipment data.
• Assists in preparation of project cost estimates and specifications.
• Reviews engineering and records documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Supports emergency response work during weather/system failures.
• Documents research for system compliance requirements.
• SAP data management.
• Documents and processes improvement recommendations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
