Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Mechanical CAD Technician to create and maintain 2D and 3D mechanical drawings for automation and robotic systems in Seattle, WA. You will work closely with mechanical engineers and designers to produce detailed drawings, update revisions, and support manufacturing activities.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of drafting experience, proficiency in SolidWorks/Creo/AutoCAD/Inventor, and a strong eye for detail.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent experience in Mechanical Design, Drafting, CAD, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience creating mechanical drawings in a professional environment.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar CAD software.

Responsibilities

  • Create and revise 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using CAD software.
  • Generate manufacturing, assembly, and detailed part drawings from existing designs.
  • Update drawings and documentation based on engineering change requests.
  • Maintain drawing libraries, part databases, and engineering documentation.
  • Work with engineers and senior designers to incorporate design updates and feedback.
