Job summary

InterCon Construction, Inc. is seeking a CAD Drafter to work under multiple engineers to create construction drawings for utility projects. This role will involve tasks such as permitting, field data collection, and working cross-functionally with construction teams.

The ideal candidate will have an Associates Degree in Drafting, at least two years of AutoCAD experience, and be detail-oriented. Travel is expected approximately 25% of the time throughout Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience with AutoCAD or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Ability to interpret schematics or engineering sketches.
• Experience in the Utility Industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction drawings using CAD equipment.
• Analyze engineering sketches to determine final design factors.
• Travel to sites for data collection under direction of a design engineer.
