Synapse ITS is seeking a Drafter to create and maintain 2D drawings and 3D models to support engineering, manufacturing, and production. You will work with Engineering and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate documentation, manage ECOs, and support product changes.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of drafting experience, proficiency in SolidWorks and Onshape, and a strong eye for detail. Familiarity with GD&T and BOM handling is preferred, enabling effective collaboration across departments.

Formación

• Associate degree or technical certification in drafting or related field (preferred).
• At least 3+ years of drafting experience in engineering/manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and 2D drawing creation with SolidWorks and Onshape.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, tolerances, and specs.
• Working knowledge of BOMs, document control, and GD&T preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Create and revise 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (SolidWorks, Onshape).
• Develop detailed drawings from designs, sketches, specifications, and existing products.
• Maintain and update drawings and models for engineering changes and production needs.
• Prepare drawings with dimensions, tolerances, materials, and manufacturing details.
• Review drawings for accuracy and consistency with drafting standards.
• Support ECOs, drawing revisions, and related documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and other teams to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate drawing files, revision histories, and documentation.
• Assist with BOMs and related product documentation as needed.
• Provide drafting support for new designs and modifications.
